DESCRIPTION

Project management is an important activity to ensure successful development of a project. It is the practice of initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing the work of a team to achieve specific goals and meet specific success criteria at the specified time.

Procurement is the process of finding, agreeing terms, and acquiring goods, services, or works from an external source, often via a tendering or competitive bidding process.

Project payments are the amount of invoice paid based on the delivery of equipment or on the basis of completed works

To enable the above functions to be met Project Management Office is formed with the following roles

  • Manage the appointment of committees involved with procurement, payment and project development.
  • Ensure that procurement specifications from PTJ or UTMDigital are approved through ICT Project Technical Assessment Committee.
  • Ensure the application development specification from PTJ or UTMDigital itself is approved through ICT Project Technical Assessment Committee.
  • Ensure and support approval of ICT Project Payments.
  • Monitor the development of ICT Project, identify and propose necessary improvements to problematic project.
  • Analyze and Issues project achievement reports for cict management and university.
